The MICAS research group houses KU Leuven's research and education on integrated circuit and sensor design. MICAS' expertise covers all the way from MEMS, analog, RF and mmWave circuits, over mixed-mode systems to digital design and processor architectures. Moreover, the group's infrastructure and track record allows to span all steps in the design cycle: from system-level conceptualization and architecting, over chip and sensor design and implementation, to fabrication and packaging. MICAS' research pipeline allows to drive ideas from conceptual academic research, towards applied research in collaboration with industry.
