Tralee Credit Union was founded in 1968, and we have been serving our members in a professional and efficient manner ever since. The name Tralee Credit Union changed as part of the 50th celebrations. Cara was the chosen name. Cara is the Irish for Friend, a name that reflects our identity, our success, our growth and our strength together. YOU, our members remain at the heart of everything we do. In December 2014 Killorglin Credit Union transferred over to Tralee Credit Union a positive development for both credit unions. The combined strength means that you, our members share equal ownership of a credit union with €220 Million in assets with strong reserves and guaranteed income.
