European Economic Chamber (European Economic Chamber of Global Commerce and Industry), also known as EEIGCham for short, was founded by the European regulation N° 2137/85 of the European Community Council on 25th July 1985 as an European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG), included in Brussels’ Court of Commerce, registered in the Transparency Register of the European Union as an official EU Lobby Group, and also registered in Lisbon as EEIGCham – Camara Economica de Portugal.
