MariMatic® specializes in Automated Solid Waste Collection Systems (AWCS) and vacuum conveying systems for underground waste collection. Our environmentally friendly and effective waste collection solutions ensure clean surroundings in modern cities, and high hygiene in food industry and in other applications. We manufacture two types of automatic waste collection systems: Taifun® - a hygienic conveying solution launched in the 1980s for use in industrial applications and bio waste. MetroTaifun® - a pneumatic conveying solution specifically designed for subterranean conveyance of solid municipal waste, both commercial waste and household waste. The number of pneumatic waste collection systems supplied has already topped 3000 and have been installed in more than 40 countries. Our high-tech waste collecting solutions are scalable for various customer needs: large residential areas, housing estates, hospitals and nursing homes, airports and terminals as well as for food production lines and food courts. Our headquarter is located in Vantaa, Finland. The own production facilities are in Finland and in Estonia. In our R&D and demo facility in Järvenpää, Finland, we have the world’s largest R&D and demonstration Automatic Solid Waste Collection System (AWCS) completely installed indoors. MariMatic® consists of two companies: MariMatic® International Oy for projects worldwide, and MariMatic® Oy for domestic projects.
